The following services are available at San Antonio Community Hospital's Neurovascular Lab:

Neurology Services

• Electroencephalogram (EEG) - Monitors electrical brain wave activity
• Video EEG Monitoring 
• Electromyogram - Tests muscle function
• Nerve Conduction Velocity Studies - Tests nerve function
• Brain Stem Auditory Evoked Responses - Screens for hearing dysfunction
• Somatosensory of the Upper and Lower Extremities - Tests the pathology of the nerves in the extremities

Vascular Services

• Transcranial Doppler - Evaluates the major blood flow in the cranial arteries
• Carotid Duplex Ultrasound - Evaluates the major blood flow/circulation in the carotid arteries
• Non-invasive Peripheral Vascular Studies - Evaluates major blood flow/circulation in the arteries and the veins in the extremities
