Mark Bertone
Chairman of the Board

Mark Bertone has served on the Board of Trustees since January 2008 and was elected Chairman of the Board in 2013. He has held the office of Vice Chairman from 2010 through 2012 and Treasurer in 2009. He is the President of Madole Communities Group, LLC, a local civil engineering and land surveying company. Mr. Bertone previously served on San Antonio Community Hospital Foundation's Board of Directors.

Donald M. Alpiner, D.O.
Trustee

Donald Alpiner, D.O. has been a Trustee since January 2007. He was President of the Medical Staff in 2000, and served as an ex officio Boad member from 1999 through 2001. Dr. Alpiner joined the hospital's Medical Staff in 1984 and was in private Family Medicine practice for 26 years. He is currently a hospital-based physician assisting in surgery.

Dora Barilla, Dr. PH, MPH, CHES
Trustee

Dora Barilla has been a Trustee since January 2008. She serves as a faculty member at Loma Linda University School of Public Health and as the Executive Director for the Office of Health Policy and Leadership. She is also the Executive Director for a not-for-profit organization, Partners for Better Health. Ms. Barilla has extensive involvement in community health organizations and initiatives.

Dann Bowman
Treasurer

Dann Bowman has served as a member of the Board of Trustees since 2011 and served as Treasurer beginning in 2013. He is the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of Chino Commercial Bank since its formation in 1999. He is a member of The Independent Community Bankers of America, the California Bankers Association, and Kiwanis International. Mr. Bowman previously served on San Antonio Community Hospital Foundation's Board of Directors and was a member of the San Francisco Federal Reserve.

Vincent J. Carollo, M.D.
Trustee

Dr. Carollo has served as a member of the Board of Trustees since January 2013. He practiced Internal Medicine at San Antonio Community Hospital for 30 years. During his tenure, he served as an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees from 1982 through 1984 including President of the Medical Staff in 1983.

Harvey D. Cohen, M.D.
President of the Medical Staff

Harvey Cohen, M.D. is an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees and began a three year term in January 2012. He joined the San Antonio Community Hospital Medical Staff in 1980. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, Dr. Cohen is in private practice with the Cohen Medical Center. He is a board member of several organizations.

Andrea Dutton
Trustee

Andrea Dutton has served on the Board of Trustees since January 2011. She is a Professor and Program Director for the Chaffey College Radiology Technology program. She is a member of numerous organizations including Phi Kappa Phi, The Community Foundation, The Frontier Project, California Teachers Association, and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

Richard E. Gilbert
Trustee

Richard Gilbert has been a Trustee since January 2005. He is a Vice President with BFI Business Finance and has over 30 years of experience in financial business development, specializing in asset-based lending. He is active in the California Chapter of the Commercial Finance Conference, and was honored with its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003.

Ronald King
Trustee

Ronald King has served on the Board of Trustees since January 2013. Mr. King is the President of SEBINS Healthcare Consultants, a 30 year brokerage and consulting firm. He actively serves his community as a member of the Upland Planning Commission and the Upland Unified School District Oversight Committee. In addition, Mr. King is a board member for Upland YMCA, a board member of the Athletes for Life Foundation, a board member for the Upland Community Partnership, and an Executive Committee member for the San Bernardino County Gangs and Drug Task Force.

Harris F. Koenig
President & Chief Executive Officer

Harris F. Koenig is an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees. He joined the hospital as President and Chief Executive Officer in June 2011. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer at Alvarado Hospital in San Diego and has 35 years of comprehensive healthcare experience

Thomas B. Ritchie
Vice Chairman

Thomas Ritchie has been a member of the Board of Trustees since January 2009 and was elected Vice Chair in 2013. Mr. Ritchie is a real estate attorney with the firm Ritchie, Klinkert & McCallion. He is a member of the California Bar Association (Real Estate Section); past president of the San Bernardino County Bar Association, and member of the Western San Bernardino County Bar Association.

Carl Schultz, M.D.
Trustee

Carl Schultz, M.D., was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2009. He joined the San Antonio Community Hospital Medical Staff in 1986 and is a Board Certified Radiologist. Dr. Schultz was President of the Medical Staff in 1999 and served as an ex officio Trustee from 1998 through 2000. He is a partner in the San Antonio Radiological Medical Group.

Jay Shah, M.D.
President Elect of the Medical Staff

Jay Shah, M.D., is an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees, serving a three year term that expires in December 2015. He is a physician partner and orthopedic surgeon at Arrowhead Orthopedics and has been a member of the Hospital Medical Staff since 1995.

Tejinder Singh, M.D.
Past President of the Medical Staff

Tejinder Singh, M.D., is an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees, serving a three-year term that expires in December 2013. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Singh joined the San Antonio Community Hospital Medical Staff in 1988.

Steven H. Spears
Trustee

Steven Spears has been a Trustee since January 2009. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Managing Partner with the CPA firm of Mellon, Johnson & Reardon. Mr. Spears is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs. He serves on the board of various community organizations including the San Antonio Hospital Foundation and the Scheu Family YMCA of Upland.
